Eric van der Linden is the Chief Leaf Officer of the Group. Eric started working in tobacco in 1986. After an initial training period of 3 years, in various countries, he became Indonesian dark air cured tobacco sales manager for Leafco and later for Standard Commercial. In 1997, he joined CdF as Country Manager for the Dominican Republic. In 2004 he moved to Brazil and in 2007 was appointed Country Manager CdF Brazilian operations.
